Episode 6 – Off to Bree

Zur Story:

In this episode of the series “Alenwen,” we witness the young Elf Alenwen nearly going out of her mind with boredom. She watches Skaldiv outside her house, who, in turn, notices that something is amiss with Alenwen. When Alenwen confesses that she desperately needs adventure and the monotonous routine bores her, Skaldiv takes the initiative..

Skaldiv suggests that the two of them travel to Bree and the Shire to sell Skaldiv’s honey. She offers to let Alenwen help with this task as long as she doesn’t annoy her. Along the way, they make a stop at a campfire, and Alenwen reveals a deep secret that leaves Skaldiv pondering. This revelation has a lasting impact on Skaldiv, even keeping her awake the whole night.

Eventually, Skaldiv decides to give Alenwen a chance and embrace the adventure.
The next day, they continue their journey, and Alenwen visibly comes to life. She clearly enjoys the unexpected experiences and encounters that this trip brings.

During their journey, they come across a poster advertising a music group called the “Blueberry Buds.” Alenwen has a fantastic idea: she decides to book these musicians and plans to surprise Skaldiv with them. Shortly before their arrival in Bree, they actually meet the Blueberry Buds. While Skaldiv is initially reluctant, she eventually agrees to sing and immerse herself in the music with Alenwen.
