Listen to a summary presented by Mila

In this episode of the “Alenwen” series, we see how the young Elf Alenwen almost loses her mind from boredom. She observes Skaldiv outside her house, who in turn realises that something is wrong with Alenwen. When Alenwen confesses that she desperately needs adventure and is bored with the monotonous routine, Skaldiv takes the initiative.

Skaldiv suggests that the two of them travel to Bree and the Shire to sell Skaldiv’s honey. She offers Alenwen to help her with this task as long as she doesn’t annoy her. On the way, they stop at a campfire and Alenwen reveals a deep secret that makes Skaldiv think. This revelation leaves a lasting impression on Skaldiv that even keeps her awake all night.

Finally, the journey continues the following morning. Skaldiv shows a somewhat greater willingness to respond to Alenwen.

While travelling, Alenwen comes across a poster advertising a music group called “Blaubeerschnuten”. Alenwen has a great idea: she decides to book these musicians and plans to surprise Skaldiv with them. Shortly before their arrival in Bree, they actually meet the Blaubeerschnuten. Although Skaldiv is reluctant at first, she eventually agrees to sing with Alenwen and immerse herself in the music.
