In this exciting episode of “Alenwen”, the Beorningen Storkoll takes centre stage and his story is presented in an impressive cinematic way:

Storkoll is a mysterious and dark character who harbours a deep aversion to women. This hatred is rooted in a traumatic past in which his former wife treated him badly and cheated on him. Over the years, his character has changed drastically as a result of these experiences. He committed dark deeds, including the murder of women, and suffered from psychotic delusions. He deeply detested happy encounters with women and pursued a dark path of hatred.

After Alenwen has found Skaldiv with the help of Frecha, the next day she has to recover from the excesses of the previous evening. Skaldiv had let her eat a lot against her will and even drink a few spirits. Frecha bids them a fond farewell and wishes them good luck on their journey.

Alenwen and Skaldiv set off for the elven territory of Falathlorn to sell Skaldiv’s honey. There they unexpectedly meet Farondis, Alenwen’s mother. Skaldiv is surprised by this connection, as she knows Farondis from her honey sales. Skaldiv talks to Farondis about Alenwen’s behaviour and how it could have come to this.

Farondis asks Skaldiv to look after her daughter, and although she is reluctant at first, she finally agrees to a deal. Farondis and Skaldiv are long-time friends and agree to look after Alenwen together.

After this fond farewell, Alenwen and Skaldiv make their way to the market stall to sell the remaining honey products. There, Skaldiv is amazed at how well Alenwen does at selling. She has numerous customers and impresses with her appearance. But she is secretly watching Storkoll, who has been following her since Bree.

The episode ends with a glimpse into the Shire, where something terrible has happened. Alenwen’s housekeeper Hasselina has made a gruesome discovery, and suddenly Alenwen’s sister also turns up, which makes the situation even more mysterious and raises many questions.
